
Isabel, Front Office Supervisor
Isabel grew up in Fort Worth, TX and has been living in Western Mass since 2012. Before coming to AFP she worked in public broadcasting and web development. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing video games, and reading in her spare time.

Jazer, Patient Care Coordinator
Jazer was working as a customer service representative/technical support for Comcast and Spectrum until he got his license as a nurse in 2015. He started work in the hospital in 2018 as a ward nurse and was transferred to the ER department after a year. Due to the Pandemic, Jazer changed career paths and started work at AFP. He loves eating, playing computer games and riding his bike with his friends.

Sarah, TMS/Spravado Technician
Originally hailing from Saco, Maine, Sarah moved to the Pioneer Valley four years ago. She worked in the hotel industry before coming to AFP and is finishing up her degree in Business Administration while getting her real estate license. She enjoys hiking and photography.

Mary, Patient Care Coordinator
Originally from New Jersey, Mary received her BA in Visual Arts from Rutgers University. Before joining AFP, she worked as a drafter for a civil engineering firm until she made her way to Western Massachusetts. She also worked for an education company for nearly 20 years and is a member of the Quabbin Arts Association. In her free time, she enjoys painting, reading, going for walks and spending time with friends and family.

Linda Hegarty, Office Manager
Linda has been with the Atkinson Family Practice since June 2009. She loves the local community and has lived in Belchertown the past 20 years with her husband Patrick raising their six “amazing” children. She feels that the best part of her job is chatting with our patients and making sure they come in the door with a smile and leave just as happy! Above all, her family is her number one priority and loves the time she spends with them. Enjoys a good book, the sunshine and a great glass of wine! Writing is her passion and in her blood. Her late father was a published novelist and poet. She someday hopes to follow in his footsteps by publishing a novel herself.

Michael Eason, Human Resources Manager
Michael is our Human Resources Manager who hails from Boston. He is focused working with each department to improve work flow, develop internal trainings, while promoting inclusivity, wellness, motivation and culture in a positive work environment. “People are an organization’s most valuable asset and the key to its success.”- Dave Bookbinder

Lindsey Boller, Billing Specialist
Lindsey has lived in Amherst, MA since the summer of 2019. She moved from Buffalo, New York where she lived her whole life with her parents and three sisters, to be with her boyfriend as he attends graduate school at UMass Amherst. Before starting her job as a receptionist at AFP she worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS. She has a passion for helping people and loves interacting and getting to know patients (old and young). She currently lives in Amherst with her boyfriend, their two guinea pigs Harvey and Stanley, and their cat Chemi. Lindsey loves being outside and can often be found reading or taking a nap in her free time.

Lynn Cournoyer, Medical Bookeeper
Lynn grew up in New Hampshire and moved to Massachusetts after graduating high school. She has worked in various accounting and administrative positions and has completed two accounting certificate programs at Greenfield Community College. She was attracted to AFP because of AFP’s approach to medicine. Nutrition, exercise and prevention have always been high on her list. Lynn is also an animal lover and enjoys having the therapy dogs in the office. She is thrilled that you are not just a number here. That is very apparent in the members of the AFP team. A genuine care and concern for their patients! The practice is very supportive of professional growth. Lynn lives on a small farm in Millers Falls with her husband, three dogs, cat, horse and chickens. She enjoy gardening (veggies and flowers) and spending time with the fur kids!

Jessica Hawley, Admin Services Supervisor
Jessica began her career with AFP in September 2015 and leads a team providing all aspects of billing, including insurance questions, coding and payments. She holds a CPC certification through the AAPC and has over 12 years of experience in healthcare, billing, and coding. Jessica and her husband, Bryan, have a beautiful daughter, Kaitlyn, Max the cat and a massive slobbering dog named Napoleon. She enjoys spending quality time with her family camping and hunting on their property in Russell.

Karen Smith, Case Manager
Karen earned her Registered Nursing Degree in May 2020 and comes to AFP with over 16 years of experience in the medical field. If you’ve been a long time patient with us, you may recognize Karen as she started her medical career with Atkinson Family Practice in 2007 as a Clinical Supervisor. Over the years she has worked in the fields of Cardiology, Neurology and Orthopedic Surgery, bringing with her a vast array of medical knowledge and looks forward to working in her role as Case Manager as part of a team with our healthcare providers, patients, and their families.
Karen is compassionate, dedicated, and believes that all patients should be treated equally. She looks forward to educating patients and their family about their current treatment plans, medications, and best ways to maintain quality of life.
In Karen's spare time she enjoys hiking with her dogs and the outdoors. She has a son who recently married and is serving his country in the air force.

Adriana Piantedosi, Concierge Liaison
Adriana is a recent graduate of Smith College and an alum of Holyoke Community College. Adriana previously worked at the Northampton Community Music Center as the registrar, and at Atkinson Family Practice as a TMS technician to the then-brand new program. They are delighted to rejoin the AFP community. Adriana loves music, theatre, and film and there is a high probability that she is currently singing (probably loudly).

Leah Howard, Marketing Coordinator
Leah is a 2023 graduate from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst with a BBA in Marketing. She comes to us with a variety of experience in Social Media Marketing and Event Planning. She is currently enrolled in an accelerated Master's degree program studying Business Analytics at UMass. Outside of work and schoolwork, Leah loves the beach, spending time with friends and family, and cooking.
